Ipswich Borough Council launches The Digital Advice Service

Free to use digital business growth advice

Ipswich Borough Council have launched their own free-to use Digital Advice Service. The Digital Advice Service team, comprising of Digital Strategist Sam Parnell, Usability Expert Abit Turner, Project Manager Kate Baines and Business Growth and finance specialist Daniel Owen-Parr and Peter Basford won the tender to aid local business in their digital growth journey.

Starting in early October and running well in to 2022 the team are seeking Ipswich based businesses who want to not only survive but also thrive into the future and make Greater Ipswich a great place to live, work and play.

New and Improved

Following a pilot scheme in 2020 in East Suffolk District Council, Ipswich is the second local council to sign up for this incredible service. The original pilot ran for six months and offered almost 100 business a personalised coaching session to assess their business and uncover tips and advice to grow online.

This time the team behind the Digital Advice Service have taken their service a step further offering even more 1-2-1 coaching and more access to all important business intelligence. Sam Parnell commented, ‘It’s clear that Ipswich is very different from East Suffolk but the problems businesses have are similar and while we focus on our aim to help the businesses, we are also focussing on showcasing Ipswich and Greater Ipswich as a place to be successful online.’

Ipswich Borough Council is offering 70 local business the chance to supercharge their digital presence. If you would like to hear more and discover if you are eligible email info@digitaladviceservice.co.uk.
